In honor of Women’s Month in March you will be invited to this informative event about an Afro-American female jazz vocalist and create an art wall-hanging. This workshop will inspire you to connect one seam and one story at a time.
Fiber Artist, Storyteller, Ambassador, Certified International Tour Manager, Event Planner and Radio Personality. Karen E. Griffin is passionate about sharing the history about Afro-Americans journey to and America one seam and story at a time. She developed and created a traveling art exhibition with art and storytelling to engage her audience with exploring culture and texture through art and storytelling.
The Sewing Labs is honored to host her for this unique and interactive workshop. Enjoy listening to her stories while enjoying a bass player @ Tyrone Clark and following up with a hands on workshop to create your own unique piece of art to take home.
