Annual free, outdoor weekend family event at historic site with music, re-enactors, children’s games, fun for all.
The 32nd annual festival is all at the Mission, established in 1839 and a designated National Historic Landmark and Kansas State Historic Site. Kick off 6-9 on Friday night, with a free bluegrass concert from The Matchmakers. Burgers, beer, wine, and pop for sale. Bring blankets and picnic! Main Events 10-5 on Saturday and Sunday. Supervised children’s activities of the 1800’s, Drum Safari, Boy Scout rope climbing, the Marble Man, archery with home-made bows and arrows.View more
