‘Stories from the Sea’ is an exhibit by Stonelion Puppet Theater at The Box Gallery. It runs July 5th through August 30th. The group art show is part of an international initiative to help stop the flow of single-use plastic into our water system.
Stories from the Sea is a unique exhibition of works by more than 20 of Israel’s most prominent professional artists. Joined by Kansas City artist Heather Loewenstein of StoneLion Puppet Theatre and National Geographic Explorer Ziggy Livnat, the project is launching an international initiative to help stop the flow of single-use plastic into our waters, from the Red Sea of Eilat to the streets of Kansas City. An Artist Talk and Performance event will be held on
First Friday, August 2nd 5:30pm-7:30pm
The event will feature a film & puppet presentation at 6pm, followed by roving puppets and interactive art. The event is free and open to the public.

Free parking validation is available for all visitors to The Box Gallery. Please park in the Commerce Bank Building Parking Garage at 1025 Main Street. Once parked, enter the main building on the 2nd floor. Bring your parking ticket in and request a validation sticker at the Security office window located at the west end of the Arcade.
