Summer Singers of Lee’s Summit Holocaust Cantata | July 30, 4:00 PM & July 31, 7:30 PM | St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Lees Summit | Performance features Donald McCullough: Holocaust Cantata; and children’s artwork from Hyman Brand Academy
Music Director Jennifer Lahasky leads the 40-voice Summer Singers of Lee’s Summit, with pianist Geoffrey Wilcken, cellist Larry Figg, and soloists Megan Moore and Joshua Markley, in a concert commemorating the Holocaust. Selections include composer Amy Thropp’s Kaddish in Memory of the Six Million; Kim Andre Arensen’s Even When He Is Silent, and the central work, the deeply moving Holocaust Cantata by Donald McCullough.
