Te Deum – Monteverdi’s Venetian Vespers of 1641 | Saturday, June 3rd at 7:30 PM | St. Mary’s Episcopal Church | Te Deum will bring to life for the first time in Kansas City this music of deep faith, infectious charm, and musical virtuosity.
During Monteverdi’s 30 year tenure as Maestro di Cappella of St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice, he did not publish any music sacred choral music until the very end.
