Te Deum - Peace and Joy

Following up on Te Deum’s highly successful Christmas concert in 2018, we are returning with an equally exciting and engaging version of our now annual “Peace and Joy.” This season’s concerts will of course focus on two of the season’s most important themes, music of peace and joy, but we will also give special attention to local Kansas City composers.

The concert features world premieres by composers Ed Frazier Davis and Geoff Wilcken. And we will perform one of the most virtuosic and grand choral pieces ever composed, Schoenberg’s Friede Auf Erden (Peace on Earth).
