This Uproarious Comedy/Drama take a look at themes and identities of African-American culture. This comedy looks at stereotypes with razor sharp wit, think African American cultural experiences presented in the style of Dave Chappell or Key and Peele

This play was  written George C Wolfe formally of the Public Theatre New York City had its premiere in 1986. The Colored Museum simultaneously celebrates, satirizes and subverts the African-American legacy. Wolfe calls his play both, 'an exorcism and a party.' The Colored Museum explores contemporary African-American cultural identity, while, at the same time revisiting and reexamining the African American theatrical and cultural past.
