This concert commemorates the 400th anniversary of the death of English composer William Byrd in 2023. His Mass for Four Voices is some of the most transcendent music in the Western canon. Additional works include beloved and beautiful compositions for British cathedral choirs including Thomas Tallis, Benjamin Britten, Cecilia McDowell, James MacMillan, and Ken Burton.
