UrbanSketchers at Party on the Prairie!

Hone your plein air skills and enjoy the party while sketching in this beautiful prairie landscape, big skies, and observing wildlife. Jerry Smith Park is a rural setting just south of downtown Kansas City and close to Martin City. Bring your families! No admittance fees.

UrbanSketchers (Non-Competitor for Quick Paint Challenge) – check out the Party on the Prairie Schedule of Events for activities such as a bird walk, horse drawn hayrides, scavenger hunt, including live music by Calvin Arsenia. Note: if you are not interested in competing in the Quick Paint Challenge, you are not required to send your information to Heidi Markle – please draw, sketch, paint and explore at your leisure.

This is a good ice breaker for UrbanSketchers that are new to plein air or landscape sketching and maybe a word of warning… you may catch the plein air bug – enjoy!
