Deadly Remedies: Toxic & Harmful Victorian Medical Practices | April 16, 6 pm | Alexander Majors Barn | Event 2 in our 3 part educational happy hour series featuring the surprising lives of Victorians & little-known secrets of Victorian society.

When it came to Victorian medical treatment, many remedies were useless at best and dangerous at worst. From mercury to tobacco, these “medicines” could be downright deadly.
With Dr. Michael Monaco, MD at the UMKC School of Medicine, Kansas City Chiefs team physician, and Civil War medicine expert.
Ticket includes lecture, two drink tickets, and light snacks. Must be 21+
