The Violent Femmes formed in 1981 as an acoustic punk-rock band playing on the streets of Milwaukee, influenced by The Velvet Underground. Original members Gordon Gano, Brian Ritchie and others join your KC Symphony for a full orchestra experience. Get set for a long list of cult classics such as "Add it Up," "Blister in the Sun," "Kiss Off," "Gone Daddy Gone," "American Song" and "Gimme the Car."

An experience at the Kauffman Center begins the moment you arrive, with a convenient, well-lit parking garage, owned and operated by the City of Kansas City, Missouri. The garage is directly attached to the Kauffman Center just south of the building with multiple access points to surrounding streets.

Please note that if the garage is full patrons without a pre-paid pass will not be able to park in the Arts District Garage.
