VIRTUAL - ArtHouse @ Your House Dance Performance: Chapters of Seeking

As a part of our ArtHouse @ Your House virtual series, and to kick off a month of dance programming, we are proud to present ‘Chapters of Seeking’ a pre recorded dance production by the Tristian Griffin Dance Company. We’ll livestream it from the InterUrban ArtHouse Facebook page Thursday, May 7th, at 7pm. Our dance programming is made possible by the Carlsen Center at Johnson County Community College.Chapters of Seeking features a narrative illustrated through contemporary movement, text and original music. The four sections: Momentum, Truth, 4 Love and In Time, illustrate the essence of momentum, truth, love and time. A different world emerges, section by section, as the performers transpire in a journey through each of these elements, connecting them to one another and to themselves. Individually, “Seeking: Momentum” and “Seeking: in Time” have been accepted into several national and international dance festivals including: Perpetuum Mobile Festival (Brussels), International Dance Festival (Philadelphia), and Alternative Regional Dance Festival (Michigan).
