Special Occasion: This conversation group will meet outside and in-person!
Before the cold weather arrives, we would like to invite you to a conversation group outside. The conversation group will meet on October 1, 2020 at 6.00 pm next to the statue “The Thinker“ by Auguste Rodin on the Nelson Atkins Museum’s south lawn. From there we will then walk together to a nice spot in the garden close by.
Please bring a blanket or a folding chair with you. The Goethe Pop Up will provide four folding chairs available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Street parking is available alongside the museum, and members of the Nelson Atkins have access to free parking in the parking garage of the museum.
This is a special event. Our group will continue to meet digitally afterwards.
Safety Guidelines
In order to ensure a safe environment, the meeting will be socially distanced. All participants are required to wear masks during the whole meeting.
Our German Conversation Group is open to German speakers of all proficiency levels and offers a platform to meet people, work on your conversation skills, and share ideas. The group will be facilitated by German native speaker and teacher Christine Hernandez.
This week’s topic: Tongue twisters.
Attention: While we are planning on meeting outside, unexpected inclement weather is unfortunately always a possibility. Please check in with us via email one day before the event at info-kansascity@goethe.de.
