This family-friendly event includes a brief walk, starting in the field at Troost Ave. and E. Truman Road, and ends on The Great Lawn at Paseo and E. 17th St. Here, participants can meet people from across the KC metro and enjoy festivities, including games, live music and breaking bread together over lunch. The goal of the Walk for Unity is to bring Kansas Citians to the table for racial healing by building relationships and sharing experiences.
