VIETNAM & CIVIL RIGHTS… IS HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF?
Based on a true story, Warriors Rising tells the story of a Vietnam veteran and a civil rights activist's encounter in 1969, changing both their lives. Fast forward to 2015 a similar encounter occurs between a female soldier and a former member of the Charleston church just after the June 17th massacre. The play examines the battles fought in both the civil rights movement and veteran community, asking the audience to decide if progress has been made or if history is repeating.

One time purchase of a $5.00 for a button. The button acts as a cover for the entire festival. In order to interact or engage with festival shows and events you must be wearing your button. Children under 12 get buttons for free. Individual tickets cost $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children under 12, and free for any child under the age of 5 that can sit on a lap.
Fringe is committed to making sure our artists are rewarded for their work. Revenue from ticket sales go directly to the artists and venues. The cost of buttons helps the festival cover operating expenses.
