Empty Bowls Kansas City Exhibition

“Empty Bowls” allows participating artists and groups to create and donate bowls, then serve a simple meal. In some communities, ceramic artists are joined by wood turners, glassblowers, fiber artists, metal smiths, painters, sculptors, and other artists and craftspeople. Guests choose a bowl to use that day and to keep as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.

This year's theme is Mountains, Mist and Crystals.  2D and 3D art to be accepted.   If you plan to submit artwork for the exhibit, it MUST be submitted by October 15th!

The show will during First Friday, November 2nd from 6-9pm.  Art can be delivered and setup starting at 12:00 on Friday November 2nd. Art will be picked up after the show or by appointment on Saturday.

This special exhibition benefits the Harvester’s Food Network. 50% of each sale will go to the artist with 50% of net sales going to feeding the hungry in Kansas City.

All visual arts fitting the theme will be considered (drawing, print, painting, mixed media work, photography, sculpture, etc). Preference for artworks depicting life purpose, vision and dreams.

Artists:  Upload your artwork depicting the relationships of human existence of Mountains vs Life Purpose,  Mists vs Vision,  Crystals vs Dreams.
Commission:  50% to artist, 50% to Harvester’s Food Network
Submission Deadline:  Oct. 15th 2018.
Delivery Deadline:  Nov. 2nd 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Pickup at 9:00 pm or by appointment Nov. 3rd before noon.
