Tim Murphy Art Gallery - African Americans and the Arts Exhibit - Call for Art

Calling all KC Metro African American artists!

The Tim Murphy Art Gallery is conducting a call for art for our “African Americans and the Arts” exhibit, February 1 – 24, 2024.

Interested artists please submit full name, phone number and up to five digitals (with titles and medium) by November 17, 2023.

Selection criteria will be based upon artistic merit. Artists should keep in mind that the gallery is located inside Merriam Community Center which is a public facility; all exhibited work must be designed for all ages.

Accepted works, need to be matted and framed unless on a wrap-around-canvas and must be wired for hanging.
