Our Response to COVID-19:

Friends of Chamber Music has been closely monitoring developments with COVID-19 and is committed to providing a safe environment.  We are scheduled to begin performances in January 2021 while remaining flexible to the current climate.

We are working diligently with our venue partners to identify best practices.  Currently, we plan to utilize the following strategies for safe in-person performances:

  • Mask requirement- all patrons will be required to wear masks upon entry and will be allowed to remove their mask upon arriving at their seat
  • Socially distanced seating
  • Limited seating- we are currently planning for 25% capacity per city regulations
  • Program Books– program books will be available online.  Patrons will also have the option to have a book mailed to them.  Physical program books will not be made available, but patrons can bring their own.
  • No CD sales, artist signings, or food/drink
  • Limited use of restrooms
  • Shorter, more frequent intermissions

We will be updating our COVID-19 policies in December to further reflect current best practices.
