Join us as we celebrate our 10th anniversary season! The mission of Summit Theatre Group is to provide Lee’s Summit and surrounding areas with enjoyable live theatre opportunities and experiences through community involvement and education in a vibrant, dynamic organization.

Summit Theatre Group is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which welcomes and values all forms of diversity as we strive to better represent the performing arts community. We are committed to fostering and working in an inclusive and welcoming space; an environment of equity demonstrated by recruiting leadership, volunteers and cast members who are representative of the diverse communities we serve. This includes the creation of inclusion-sensitive educational programming, multicultural show selection, openness and inclusion in faculty, directors, board members and non-traditional casting choices. We are further committed to engaging and casting under-represented artists; inviting children and individuals of all backgrounds to our educational workshops; and producing shows that work towards a more inclusive and diverse community.
