As a Kansas City area resident and native, I fell in love with color many years ago.  I am a self-taught, abstract artist using acrylic paints & mediums to unite vibrant colors with simple patterns that we see in our everyday lives. I am always on the search, tasked to find balance;  moving, pushing, pulling paint, to identify the ultimate placement.  Witnessing the moment beauty emerges is an ongoing blessing. As a child, photography was my focus.  Documenting the world gave me purpose and testimony and still does to this day.  But years later, abstract painting has shown me the power to change what I see.  It allows for adjustments;  teaching me that in life if something isn’t what I want it to be, I have the power to change it.
