I am a fine art photographer, concentrating on botanicals.

I have shown my work at local businesses and also been included in a number of juried exhibitions at galleries in the Kansas City metro, as well as nationally.

I am a huge fan of other practitioners of photography who continue to inspire me,  and my art history knowledge is broad and deep. Despite the vast number of photographs produced each year in the era of the cell phone, I continue to be moved by the truth-seeking power of  the camera.

Before I turned my attention to art photography, I was a professional journalist. I have spent most of my life in Kansas City except for 12 years on the East Coast, where I went to college and worked as a young professional.
