I am drawn to that unseen force that moves us to action or stops us in our tracks. That type of vibrant moment has become the starting point for most of my work. I try to capture the energy embedded in those moments… and put that on canvas.

Mark-making has become my vehicle to translate this energy. I celebrate the clash between simplicity and complexity.  The process of painting and replicating this force brings me peace.

I enjoy playing with the depth of texture and color. The use of resin amplifies the color, depth and texture of the paint.
