Teresa Harrison was always creative, experimenting in art, writing, and music. In elementary school, she was writing stories and playing the cello. In eighth grade, she had a poem published in a national magazine. But it wasn't until a late return to college that she really indulged her inner artist and ultimately received her BFA with distinction in metalsmithing from the University of Kansas. However, after graduation, she continued to branch out into many different artistic realms, including painting, sculpting, photography, and writing. For many years, Teresa was a member of the Leavenworth County Artists Association, assisting with shows, writing and publishing the newsletter, and earning awards with her art. After moving to the Kansas City metro area, she finally found a new artist home with the Kansas City Artists Coalition. Teresa's other areas of interest and passion include all things metaphysical and holistic. She continued her education through the School of Metaphysics and the University of Metaphysics, eventually receiving her Doctorate of Metaphysical Sciences. She facilitates both individual and group meditation and is a certified hypnotist. She continues to study holistic nutrition. Teresa lives in Shawnee, Kansas, where the resident cat permits her to indulge in her artistic pursuits as long as they don't interfere with mandatory feeding, petting, and play.
