Ian Campbell is a Kansas City-based artist and photographer. He holds an MFA in Photography & Integrated Media from Ohio University and a BA from Wheaton College, Illinois. He also completed a semester-long student residency program at the New York Center for Art and Media Studies.

Ian has shown his work in galleries, film festivals, publications, and conferences throughout the U.S. His recent achievements include solo exhibitions at the Batesville Area Arts Council and the Arts and Science Center of Southeast Arkansas and an artist residency at the University of Notre Dame Environmental Research Center.

From 2016-21 Ian served as Assistant Professor of Art at Lyon College, where he taught a wide range of courses in photography, digital art, drawing, and art history. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Batesville Area Arts Council, and served as an officer of the COBRA grotto of the National Speleological Society.

In 2021 Ian re-located to his native Kansas City to further pursue his studio art practice.
