During a life that’s included improvisational theater, stand-up comedy, making offbeat corporate video, and distributing art house movies, Tamblyn now practices photography in the same way he’s done everything else — through relentless experimentation that results in new perspectives.

"I use long exposures to capture movement that results in dreamlike images," Tamblyn says. "My intention is to engage the viewer in creating a narrative for the images they see."

Tamblyn exhibits on a nearly continuous basis, and is currently represented by Cerbera Gallery, in the Crossroads Arts District, Kansas City, Missouri.

Married for over 40 years, with 2 adult daughters and 2 grandchildren, he loves hiking, cooking, and swimming. His lab-mix, Beatrice, occasionally appears in his photos.
