Sarah Ruth Frey is a self taught artist living in Kansas City.

​After graduating from the University of Missouri - Columbia with her Bachelor's of Journalism in Strategic Communication, Sarah spent five years working as a creative in the catering industry. In 2023, she transitioned out of her full-time position to pursue freelance work - and thus, the studio was born. After encouragement from her community to pursue art, Sarah taught her self to oil paint in summer 2023 and held her first solo show in November.
