Bio-Big City Girl enjoying small town living. Born in KC KS raised in Midwest and graduated from PSU with BS in Secondary ED (Art, English, Phyc.) Lives in Carl Junction MO, owns Farmers Ins. Agency 1321 Illinois and Urban Art Gallery 511 Main, both in Joplin. My artworks represent series, such as: Tuscany, Graffiti: Urban Art, Landscapes, Rust, Jellies, and more. Show regularly in Crossroads First Fridays in KC MO, Joplin, MO., and occasionally in Springfield, MO.

Of interest: Started Artwalk in 2008 for Joplin, and runs and shows in First Thursday ArtWalk, March thru October, annually. Part of the 'Now Showing' in Public Places/ Corporate Spaces of ARTSKC.

Honors: Recently recognized at ArtsKC recent event ELEVATE at Starlight Theatre honoring the arts. Recently honored with the ARTY AWARD by the Joplin Chamber of Commerce for bringing arts cultural events to downtown Joplin. Co founder in 2010 of the Joplin Regional Artists Coalition, the third largest organized visual artists organization in Missouri. Opened Urban Art Gallery 2015 in Joplin, MO, where I sell works of other artisans, my own and host artist shows monthly.

Awards (all juried): a prize winning photographer, which has won over 40 local and regional awards and over 5 major national competitions. Most recently honored by having 4 works juried into the National PhotoSpiva competition. Also, with having OLD MILL NEW ENGLAND accepted to be in the AARP national annual calendar. Several local College magazines, and the local magazine, Show-Me the Ozarks magazine have featured my career and works. Last showing at the Carter Art Center (Penn Valley CC) KC MO. and Buttonwood Arts space KC MO.
