Opening Celebration & KC Chorale

Presented by Kansas City American Guild of Organists at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts

We begin the 2018 National AGO Convention by honoring Bernstein’s call to action as we commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War One. The featured artists include speaker and narrator Dr. Matthew Naylor, president and CEO of the National World War I Museum and Memorial, Spire Chamber Ensemble, Festival Brass and Percussion, and Dr. Jan Kraybill playing the magnificent Casavant Frères Organ. Additionally, the world premiere of "Everyone Sang" by Sir James McMillan will be given.

An experience at the Kauffman Center begins the moment you arrive, with a convenient, well-lit parking garage, owned and operated by the City of Kansas City, Missouri. The garage is directly attached to the Kauffman Center just south of the building with multiple access points to surrounding streets.

Garage parking passes and valet parking passes are available in advance for most events. Please note that if the garage is full patrons without a pre-paid pass will not be able to park in the Arts District Garage.
