Bach’s music is still as beautiful and transcendent as it was when he first wrote it, according to the three musicians who have put together the program. The concert on Friday, March 23 at 12:10 p.m., will be at the Westport Presbyterian Church, 201 Westport Road, Kansas City.

The musicians are Marian M. Thomas on harpsichord, Lyra Pherigo on flute, and Eman Chalshotori on cello.

Bach, a German composer and musician of the Baroque period, was born on March 31, 1685. He is regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time for his instrumental and vocal compositions.
