We have the second annual Heartland Glass show coming up at Monarch Glass Studio. It's going to be great. We have 16 very talented regional artists showing in this juried two-month long exhibition. Artists range from college students to college professors, 50-year long career artists to budding artist in their first years. The disciplines are also far reaching within the material of glass spanning from stained glass to blown glass, kiln-fused to ladle poured casting. The first annual saw great numbers of viewers for this first of its kind show and we're hopeful to see even more interest this year.
The opening night on April 6th (6 to 9pm) will feature a glassblowing demonstration by Meriam, KS artist, Dierk Van Keppel, and live music by Candice Hall. After opening night, the show will continue to be up until the end of May.
