A Flower Blooms: The Work of JoEl Vogt

A Flower Blooms: The Work of JoEl Vogt

Presented by InterUrban ArtHouse at InterUrban ArtHouse

Celebrate the release of JoEl Vogt’s book on April 28 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.  Soft-cover copies (150 pages with more than 50 full-color images) will be available at the event.  You can also enjoy seeing many of JoEl’s paintings and fiber works while having wine and light refreshments.

JoEl is an artist and retired art therapist. Her paintings have appeared in numerous galleries and shows in Missouri and Kansas as well as in private and corporate collections. Primarily in private practice during her counseling career, she was a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist and a Missouri Licensed Professional Counselor. Active today in fiber arts as well as painting, JoEl derives much of her inspiration from the nature preserve she and her husband maintain in the Missouri Ozarks.

In A Flower Blooms, JoEl traces her lifelong relationship with nature and her passion for landscape painting. She has contemplated the good life, defined it for herself, and manifested her dream of deep immersion in wildlife and art. This book is filled with beautiful paintings of her views of the Ozarks, where she has captured the colorful land and sky in all seasons. It also contains insights for defining and pursuing your own dreams.
