Orchestral classics will highlight the Philharmonia of Greater Kansas City Season Finale concert on Sunday, May 6 at 4 pm at Grand Avenue Temple United Methodist Church in downtown Kansas City.
Under the baton of conductor Raffaele Cipriano, the Philharmonia will perform such favorites as Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” Overture, Smetana’s “The Moldau (Vltava)” and Schumann’s Symphony No. 1 (“The Spring.”) Doors open at 3:30 pm and refreshments will be served at intermission. Free parking is available in the Federal Building lot, bordered by 9th and McGee Streets. Financial assistance for this concert has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council and the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund of Kansas City, MO.
