ArtsKC Encounter - Artist Discussion

ArtsKC Encounter - Artist Discussion "Illuminating the Queer Experience"

Presented by ArtsKC – Regional Arts Council and InterUrban ArtHouse at InterUrban ArtHouse

This is a free event, but registration is required.

Join us for our final ArtsKC Encounter of the season! This special exhibition at InterUrban ArtHouse in downtown Overland Pak showcases the perspectives of artists from many facets of the Kansas City LGBTQIA community and provides a welcoming platform for these artists to share their stories.

In addition to touring the exhibit, we'll enjoy an in-depth discussion with three local artists who are featured in the show: Jen Harris (poet), Jeanette Powers (spoken word and visual artist), and Joseph Keehn (artist and event producer). You'll also enjoy food provided by Ambrosia Catering and beer provided by Boulevard Brewing Company.

Special thanks to the Presenting Sponsor of the ArtsKC Encounter program, Mazuma Credit Union!

Hope to see you there!
