Free teen event with after-hours tours, food, art, and activism!

Join the Teen Council for a night at the museum full of food, art, activism, and free after-hours tours.

This Club KC event was made possible thanks to the Mayor’s Office and KC Parks & Recreation. Teen events at the Nelson-Atkins are adult supervised but designed for autonomous exploration of art and ideas by teens aged 14-18. Younger, middle-school-aged youth are welcome to participate as long as they are comfortable away from parental supervision and around the social dynamics of older teens.

Parking Info

Entrance to the Parking Garage is off Oak Street, just south of 45th Street. The garage is fully ADA accessible. Parking is $14 per car | Free for members A free lot at the corner of 45th Street and Rockhill Road is available first come, first served. Public parking may not be available there during special events.
