With Kantorei KC, Dr. Jo-Michael Scheibe and Dr. Brandon Boyd
The second of two jaw dropping showcase concerts for the fifth annual Kantorei Summer Choral Institute. This event will join local professional ensemble Kantorei KC, with the KSCI Concert Chorale directed by Dr. Jo-Michael Scheibe of the University of Southern California and The KSCI Choristers ensemble led by Dr. Brandon Boyd from the University of Missouri.
The Concert Chorale consists of 45 auditioned 16-20 year old students. They are products of the many great High School and Collegiate Choral programs in the KC Metro and most were members of their area's All-District or All-State choir.
Choristers is 35 younger High School students, age 14-16 coming with the highest recommendation from their school music teachers.
