MTKC presents the musical, My Favorite Year, on July 28-29, 2018.
MY FAVORITE YEAR – From the writers and creators of Seussical, Anastasia, Ragtime and Once on This Island comes MY FAVORITE YEAR – a classic musical comedy with fabulous songs and great character roles. It's 1954, and Benjy Stone, a writer for a hit TV comedy show is assigned the daunting task of babysitting the veteran Hollywood swashbuckler, Alan Swann. The reckless Swann is in town to do a live guest appearance on the show and his antics and shenanigans nearly get Benjy fired. When Benjy is given an unexpected glimpse into Swann's broken heart, he begins to discover a thing or two about life and love.
Performance Dates: Saturday, July 28 at 7 pm and Sunday, July 29 at 2 pm
All performances will be held in MTKC’s theatre home, B&B Live, in the B&B Theatres Shawnee 18 complex. Seating is reserved and limited, and tickets to MTKC shows sell out fast.
