Perfect for high school and adult designers who are looking to polish their technical abilities, correct fit issues, and generally advance their garment-making skills to a more professional level. Previous sewing machine and garment construction.

Students will:
· Advance illustration and concepting capabilities;
· Learn basic pattern-making techniques;
· Take a trip to a local fabric store to learn about the fabric types and capabilities;
· Become familiar with sizing guides and how clothes are produced; and
· Develop master slopers.
Basic fabric for product development and sewing machines (industrial machines, sergers, coverstitch, and blindstitch) will be provided; students must provide their own sewing kit and fabric for sewing projects. A shopping list will be provided.
