An assistant professor of Filmmaking and Creative Writing at the Kansas City Art Institute, Trey Hock explores narrative through short film, writing, installation, photography, performance and web-based social media platforms. His work investigates physical and social constructions that surround us, including narrative storytelling, the photographic frame, public and private space, and personal identity. Hock is collaborating with writer Brent Jackson to explore the taxonomy of the recently decommissioned Blue River Road.
