Presented by Open Spaces and Mattie Rhodes Center at The Village at Swope Park

Join Mattie Rhodes Art Center to learn the history of the Calacas and decorate your own sugar skull. Learn how a traditional sugar skull is made for the beautiful celebration of Dia de Los Muertos/Day of the Dead.  Each person will get to decorate their very own sugar skull using frosting and sequins.  Each sugar skull is unique and can be used to decorate your very own altar/ofrenda!
