Local performers of color discuss their experiences, answer questions, and end the evening with an hour of performances.
Engage in a panel discussion about race and colorism in the arts and entertainment industry, led by international variety entertainer Martika Daniels, along with some of Kansas City's best local performers . Participants will discuss what it takes to be an independent entertainer in KC, followed by audience Q&A. Afterwards, the panel will dazzle with their talents in an hour-long performance. FREE, 7-9pm.
This event is part of InterUrban ArtHouse's Tangled Roots multicultural exhibition and festival during the months of August and September.
