Kansas City Will Be Kicking the Koch Habit and Expanding Democracy For All

KKFI-Kansas City Community Radio 90.1FM will host Kicking the Koch Habit and Expanding Democracy for All, a conference, on August 10 & 11, 2018 in Kansas City, MO. The conference features three notable thinkers on how American democracy is being undermined by the billionaire class. Nancy MacLean, author of the award-winning Democracy in Chains; The Deep History of the Radical Right’s Stealth Plan for America, Jason Stanley, author of the upcoming How Fascism Works: The Politics of US and Them, and Jim Hightower, radio commentator, author and publisher of The Hightower Lowdown.

 

Conference times and locations are: Friday, August 10, 6 - 9:30pm and Saturday, August 11, 8am - 5pm at UMKC Student Union 5100 Cherry St., KC, MO 64110, 4th floor and Saturday, August 11, 6 - 9:30pm at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 4501 Walnut, KC, MO 64110.
