The KCAI Crossroads Gallery: Center for Contemporary Practice is pleased to present Providence of the Surreal by Susan White as our inaugural window installation. Working with thorns from honey locust trees, White creates large-scale installations specific to architectural spaces. As three-dimensional drawings, they respond to the thorns’ innate elegance, play with structural limits, and investigate manifold cultural and political metaphors.
