The Youth Symphony of Kansas City kicks off it’s 60th Anniversary season with a free block concert October 5th at 18th and Wyandotte in the KC Crossroads Art District.

The Youth Symphony of Kansas City kicks off it’s 60th Anniversary season with a free block concert during October’s First Friday.

All four orchestras will perform on October 5th at 18th and Wyandotte in the KC Crossroads Art District. The Symphony and Philharmonic orchestras will start at 6:20 p.m., playing Symphony No. 2 “The Little Russian” by Tchaikovsky and Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah by Saint-Saëns  The Academy and Debut orchestras will perform at 7:10 p.m., playing Symphony No. 1 by Brahms and Overture to The Magic Flute by Mozart.
The event is free and family-friendly.
