Freight Train Rabbit Killer Performs at KCAI Crossroads Gallery

Presented by KCAI Crossroads Gallery: Center for Contemporary Practice at KCAI Crossroads Gallery: Center for Contemporary Practice

The performance, a collaboration of the Crossroads Gallery and Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI) Illustration Department, is the result of a workshop by visiting artists Freight Train Rabbit Killer duo Kris Bruders and Mark Smeltzer.

Freight Train Rabbit Killer’s work incorporates music, costuming, performance and visual art and a DIY aesthetic. The Rabbit Killer is a spirit shaman in the form of a rabbit. Don’t let reality fool you, ‘cause this rabbit is on a mission to hunt all of the High Sheriffs of predation to work his way to Satan and take him back where he came from.  Freight Train, a vigilante naturally or unnaturally bent on justice, on a mission to purge the world of its predators feeding on the innocent. Predators like CEOs of banks, insurance companies, politicians, people that run this unfair world. The two set out on an unsettling adventure set to heavy rhythmic juke and trance songs as the soundtrack to this epic journey. The music delivers on the spiritual, profane redemption and loss. http://freighttrainrabbitkillerband.com
