Basics of Analog Synthesis

Basics of Analog Synthesis

Presented by Open House at Open House

Open House and Garage School present the Basics of Analog Synthesis with Ross Brown:

Through practical demonstration and hands-on interaction students will be taught the basics of analog sound synthesis as heard in modern and vintage synthesizers. An introductory lecture and discussion of common synthesis techniques will precede a workshop in which students can put theory into practice creating sounds of their own devising.

About Open House:

Open House is an experimental and collaborative neighborhood arts project located inside a single-family house in KCMO. We provide space for artists to explore their practice, provide a platform for immersive experiences, encourage collaboration, and help stage communal gatherings.

Open House is funded through an ArtsKC Inspiration Grant, individual donations, and by a Rocket Grants Project award, a program of the Charlotte Street Foundation and the University of Kansas Spencer Museum of Art. Funding is provided by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
