Stranded in the Sahara Desert by his downed biplane, a world-weary pilot encounters the mysterious Little Prince who asks the pilot to draw him a sheep. Thus begins Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved story of The Little Prince, brought to life in a stunning new co-production from Mesner Puppet Theater and the Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium at Union Station. The Little Prince travels the galaxy, tends to a talking rose, and befriends a spry fox eager to be tamed, learning unique lessons of love, loss and laughter along the way, all of which he shares with the pilot before they part ways and return home. Performed with live puppetry and the state-of-the-art planetarium dome as a backdrop, audiences will be swept across the universe in a theatrical production unlike any other.
