Your first stop for First Friday on December 7 from 5-8 pm at 1608 Locust KCMO. Meet the artists and see 40+ framed original works in oil and watercolor are currently on display and for sale.
From the over 100+ works that were initially judged and on display for the month of October at the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center, 40+ works were selected and are currently on display (at 1608 Locust, KCMO/Alaris Litigation Services).
We've included three first place winners along with second and third place works from each of the 4-zones painted on location along the 4-miles of Brush Creek. The show and sale which runs through January includes an “Official Opening” on Friday, December 7th from 5 to 8pm. Come by and meet the artists, listen to their stories and hear more about our plans to expand the Plein Air (outdoor painting) Movement in Kansas City.
