The special concert will feature performances by Making Movies, Calvin Arsenia, rock en español group Reptil, and, after midnight, a recreation of the classic Talking Heads album, Remain In Light, complete with costumes and a psychedelic light show. Maintaining their focus on local activism, Making Movies and Calvin Arsenia are highlighting community leaders who are "bringing light" to Kansas City by showcasing them via Social Media (follow #RemainInLightKC) and taking a moment to acknowledge them during the night. The show will also include many special guests from the Kansas City music scene, an open-bar VIP area, and free champagne toast.
