studios.gallery is pleased to present through the lens, an exhibit featuring present and prior resident artists Patty Carroll, Jill Downen, Caitlin Horsmon, Kathy Liao, Hye Young Shin and Debra Smith.  This exposition focuses on women in the arts, particularly through the lens of each artist’s aesthetic, exploring themes of identity, conceptualization and reclamation of self.     Exhibit on view from 02.01.19 to 03.22.19 with an opening reception Friday, 02.01.19 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM.

studios.gallery is the one-stop shop for KC’s greatest artists. The gallery hosts a large and varied collection of work donated by artists from our Residency Program.  studios.gallery is an exhibition space and art lending program included in the Studios Inc non-profit organization. The studios.gallery exhibit rotates four times a year which allows fresh new works to be displayed from Kansas City’s most prominent artists. Proceeds generated from sales of exhibited work through studios.gallery are used towards funding of Studios Inc programs.
