Artist Discussion Panel: How Art Heals, Friday, Feb 15th, 7:00pm – 8:00pm, at InterUrban ArtHouse. Local artists discuss with each other and the audience how their art had been a healing force in their lives.

Throughout our history, humans have used art to express ourselves, be it about our world views, everyday experiences and observations, or the emotions we feel. For many, art is especially useful in coping with illness. Join artists Nedra Bonds, Sherry Whetstone-McCall, and others as they discuss how their art has helped them cope, heal, and regain their paths to wellness. Audience members will be invited to participate during and after the discussion.
Come early or stay after to view both our Hands That Heal show and Expressions, a showing of works by artists with disabilities, in our main gallery space, and tour our 19 artist studios.
